We are thrilled to advise, that along with the supporter packs, this campaign raised over $2,100, which along with the other funds raised in November this year we will donate to Childhood Cancers Research.

100% of the funds raised at these events will be donated to the 2 research laboratories where they are battling to understand and beat Ewings Sarcoma and Hodgkins Lymphoma – in honour of our two softball friends Kirsty Lester and Addie Clay. Kirsty is kicking butt in her battle against Ewings Sarcoma and Addie fought a great fight and has beaten Hodgkins Lymphoma.

The #p4ac 10 year head shave brought in over $9000, with special thanks to Jodie Wilson and her dad, Dean, for joining in and shaving in Woorim Bribie Island and contributing $1100+ to the head shave. Pink Panther Day brought in $2600+ and Pink Day for Kirsty $2300+. Amazing support from our wonderful softball community and #teamp4ac supporters.

March 2011, 4 months after our founding date, our Founder Leigh Martyn shaved her head to raise thousands for cancer research.

September 2020, Leigh is prepared to do it all again in the name of Childhood Cancers research.

13th September update!

Leigh’s long time friend Jodie has decided that she’s going to shave her head too so we can only hope double the heads double the fundraising! Thank you Jodie!!

With an aim to do the head shave on 14th November 2020, we are looking to raise, at a minimum, $5,000 for Childhood Cancers Research. You can donate via credit card by clicking on this link or by direct bank deposit to our account below.

Board Member Anne Vogler along with Charity Founder Leigh Martyn were on hand to present Bryan and his team $50,000 and once again we got to see them at work in their laboratory. Bryan said ‘What you do for us (researchers) is incredible and this contribution will support ongoing research into developing new targeted therapies for children with brain cancer. We are incredibly grateful for your support’.

Bryan will be back at our dinner on the 24th October, to provide an update on their research. We cannot wait to hear of the progress you and your team make Bryan. Keep up the amazing research because WE are incredibly grateful for what you do!
