Best masters fundraiser ever!

THIS WAS OUR BEST FUNDRAISER EVER!

The final count has us just shy of $8200 raised, meaning we have now broken the $90,000 funds raised barrier, and we are well on our way to hitting $100000 by the end of the year when we turn 5!

Of course I must thank the normal suspects.  My Play for a Cure teammates who made this year so much fun in the ticket sales arena.  That’s what it was – an arena hosting a competition as to who could sell the most tickets – made it a lot of fun and I guess we never stop competing 🙂P4AC Masters 2015

To the ladies in our team who also donated prizes – thank you! To Rhegan for organising our 2 nights at Royal Pines Resort and to all those who purchased a ticket – thank you!  To Carrie, Leigh, Debbie and her Toowoomba Warriors, Paula and her Pap Sistas, Fiona and Stephen for you direct donations – you are very kind and I thank you!

Thank you to Softball Queensland for allowing us to run this raffle at the grounds in Logan.  Obviously we couldn’t raise the funds we do, if we weren’t allowed to walk the grounds!  Beyond grateful!

We continue to do what we can to fund cancer research.  Too many of us and our family and friends are impacted by this insidious disease so we will continue in our endeavours.

Keep your eyes peeled for our next exciting auction offering and of course keep the 5th December free for our annual Play for a Cure Yellow Socks charity softball challenge.  Where, I hope, we will crack the $100000 raised!

Oh, finally, yes we made our 6th final in a row, we didn’t win (again) but as I said in my speech to the Men and Women Div 1 teams, how could you say we were losers when we really did win!

Your continued support is vital and never taken for granted – thank you from me, the board and our P4AC masters team!

Leigh
