The Hervey Bay Softball Association hosted their annual ‘Play for a Cure’ (Pink Day) on the 11th December, 2021, to raise money to help us fund cancer research.
“It is one of the biggest days of the year with an important message, and we have some fun as well”, Association President Donna Jenkins said.
The District Association asked each player to donate $2 to the day and they also sold wristbands, icy cups and cupcakes. Everybody came along and supported a brilliant cause and they raised $1502 to help us #endcancer.
Donna went on to say they hope they can make their day bigger and better next year and we wholeheartedly agree and hope so!
