Day on the Greens – a hit!

Simply an outstanding, amazing day!  By having a round of golf, a great time with mates, an awesome feed and a chance to win super prizes, we have raised $3,432.05 (to be exact).  For our first time? We are over the moon!

The sun was shining, the support from Nudgee Golf Club was 2nd to none, the sponsors and supporters were outstanding and the golfers and those lunching were there in droves.  It ran so smoothly you would never guess it was our first ever golf day. This is largely in part to our board member Graham working so closely with Rick of Nudgee Golf club – they made it all seem all so easy!

Of course, nothing could happen without our supporters.  We thank each and every one of you who came to play and lunch with us.  It looked like you all had a great time and we are so happy you did!

Special thank you to the following who in most cases, not only played but they either sponsored a hole or donated a prize for our raffle:

Garry McNamara and Let Minnow Café (sponsor)

Shane Heit and Allmet Engineering (sponsor)

Paul McIntosh and BBC Digital (sponsor)

Tyson Howard and All about steering and suspension (sponsor)

Pete Weber and Cryptic Carpentry (sponsor)

Luke Faulkner and LRF Sport (donor)

Jason Warburton and Vittoria (donor)

Intimo and Hilton Hotel (shared donors)

Nudgee Golf Course (donor (and joint event organiser!))

John Downes Golf Professional (donor)

From all accounts and reviews it would appear that this is likely to become an annual event so for that reason, we cannot wait to see you all again this time next year (if not at one of our other events this year, say like the Sportman’s dinner )

Thank you again, to each and every one of you that made our first ever golf day and lunch an absolute success!  All the photo that we took on the day can be found here and the winners are listed below.
